Catalyst for Change

by Action Advisor on December 1, 2009

Change.org is an online hub for social change offering media exposure to prominent voices who can leverage the Change.org network to increase their impact. By producing daily content about issues and connecting readers to opportunities for action, the site serves as a central platform for launching, promoting and empowering movements for social change around the most important issues of our time.

The Changemakers Network includes a select group of prominent activists, elected officials, authors, bloggers, actors, musicians and thought leaders who have demonstrated the ability to create change on the issues that matter to them most.

Over the past six months the Change.org platform has been used to win more than a dozen campaigns to convince companies, Federal agencies, local governments, and major organizations to make positive change on issues of importance.

Participation is simple: a profile is set-up for you by the Changemakers Network. When you want to write a brief article or blog post on an issue of importance and drive conversation or action, you can send it to their editorial team who will feature it on the Change.org homepage where it is accessible to a community of more than 500,000 activists and thousands of nonprofit partners, aligned bloggers, and followers and fans on Twitter and Facebook.
