Kaley Cuoco ‘Melody with Meaning’

The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco supports animals with a song, turning a misfortune into a meaningful message for the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).

Cuoco turned to the spirit-restoring power of song after a fall from her horse Santos left her with a painful open compound leg fracture. The star’s boyfriend, Christopher French (from the band Annie Automatic) used harmony as a catalyst for healing. Amongst the ballads a classic which Cuoco could also croon, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

Just like in The Wizard of Oz, Kaley found home the best place to recuperate from her injuries and help homeless pets by highlighting the joys of dog adoption in a musical video. Recorded in the couple’s living room with the actress’s sister behind the camera, Cuoco and French sing a rendition of the timeless tune in a clip with a message supporting animal adoption.
